Description
The OMA Facilitator in-person training prepares artists, aging and healthcare professionals, activity directors, and educators to become OMA Certified Facilitators to implement OMA in their communities. All lectures, materials, and hands-on practicum experiences will be provided during the three days of training, followed by a one-hour virtual Resource Session.
This training is hosted and lead by Art for the Journey.

Part 2: The Role of the OMA Artist
Morning: Instruction, discussion, and hands-on learning
Afternoon: Practicum as OMA Artists
Thursday, October 9, 9 am – 5 pm
Part 3: The Role of the OMA Facilitator
Morning: Instruction, discussion, and hands-on learning
Afternoon: Practicum and Certification as OMA Facilitators
This is a fully in-person training and requires participants to be in Richmond, VA for all 3 days above.
