Krysta Peterson is the Associate Director of OMA. She has over a decade of experience designing and leading programs that connect people across generations through creative expression, with a special focus on engaging people living with dementia in abstract art-making.Krysta has extensive experience in program development, volunteer training, and large-scale community engagement. She has led national and international workshops, exhibitions, and trainings, helping organizations integrate OMA into their communities.
In addition to her leadership with OMA, Krysta is pursuing her Master of Arts in Biology through Miami University’s Project Dragonfly, with a focus on community-based conservation and creative intergenerational hubs. Her graduate work explores innovative approaches to connecting people of all ages through art, creativity, and nature.
