2.8 Quiz: OMA Play Time

All art projects need to be pre-played (tried out) before we deliver it to the older adults.

Playtime is not necessary if we have done the art project before and know it well.

When doing the huddle, it’s not necessary to complete a finished piece, as long as everyone is clear about the steps of the art project.

By showing a beautiful finished art piece that was created with very little effort during the huddle, we can build the volunteers’ confidence in their ability to support their partners.

We should always have the correct size mat to frame the finished artwork at the end of the huddle to impress the volunteers with our beautiful example.

If volunteers are impressed with the artwork completed in the huddle and feel confident that anyone can do the project, they can then use this confidence to encourage their partners.
